Girls being too polite?

Once, while I was at the course, I was sitting somewhere and chatting with a girl and I said to her, 'How strong you are, punch me so I can see your strength.' I said. Then he said to me, 'I don't want to act in ways that could harm people, except when I'm angry.' said. How much damage can one punch do to a person, when he talks like that? The girls in general are really very polite. What do you think are the reasons?

Yeah man, girls are usually super polite about that kinda stuff. I don't think one punch would really hurt much, but they don't wanna take any chances, ya know?

A few reasons they might be so polite:

- They were raised to be ladylike and not engage in any kind of violence, even play fighting. It's just not polite girl behavior.

- If they did punch you as a joke and hurt you, even a little, they'd feel so bad about it. Girls care a lot about other people's feelings.

- They don't wanna give off the impression they can fight or are aggressive. Society likes girls to be gentle and nice.

- Maybe they're worried you'd think they were flirting if they play punched you or something. Easier to be politely disinterested.

- Or they don't trust guys not to overreact if hit, even jokingly. You never know with some dudes.

So it's probably just ingrained in them to take the polite route rather than risk any misunderstandings. Kinda sucks they can't relax and have fun like guys do, but that's how it is I guess!

I don't really understand what you are asking. The girl said she doesn't want to punch someone and I agree with that. I don't go around randomly hitting people even if they were to ask. I actually have never been asked to do this and don't know why a guy would suggest it. Why are you telling her to punch you? Then you say girls are generally polite. What she said was polite that she didn't want to do it. I guess you can see my confusion on the question.

Men can punch me even if I don't want to, so they are more rude. I am asking it.
