because we are biologically animals animals grows up fighting with their siblings not to actually hurt them but for honing their skills and form a bond.
so it is about that, we man can't be like girls who kisses each other gets touchy feely and all the other intimate things, it doesn't come naturally to us most intimate we can get with each other without feeling weird or grossed out instinctively is hugging each other or wrestling. so we fight like animal cubs, bonding and honing our skills together.

I used to enjoy wrestling in my teenage years. I think it was sort of a dick measuring contest but also honing of skill. I also enjoyed kickboxing but now I feel too old to take it seriously.

  Sure you do... When it comes to basketball, people play games of horse. They do half court shots. They do all kinds of random trick shots. They play one on one. They try to see who can out handle and shake another person. Sometimes a single person will even sit in a park and just free throw on their own. Most basketball activity isn't strict to the sport's rules.
