Well the first thing is to accept the reality that the likelihood of meeting them let alone having a meaningful relationship with them is close to zero. I mean it is possible that it could happen. Nothing is 100% certain but the odds are pretty poor. It also depends on how big of a celebrity they are. Bigger the celebrity less of a chance. I would suggest not consuming anything media wise that reminds you of them. For example if they are in movies then don't watch the movies they are in. Doing that is just a constant reminder of the crush you have on this person. The only other thing would be to seek professional help if it is really a huge obsession. Good luck.

Some people are a fantasist when it comes to a celebrity. In the past, the ruling monarch would often be the subject of such attention. In contemporary times, it could be anyone with public visibility. Generally, these are people we don't really know and construct fantasies around. What we don't know, our brains fill in with often ideal information. Ultimately, beyond what drew you to that person (e. g. their ability to sing, act, lead, etc) everything else isn't really real. When we accept that our fantasy isn't real, then it loses its power over us.

For example, if I said I had the winning lotto ticket in a brown paper bag and put it on the table, then you'd be excited and the value and reverence for the bag would increase. However, if you then find out that the bag is empty and accept that there is no winning lotto ticket in the bag, then you will have a reality check and the bag becomes plain, ordinary and uninteresting. Thus, you will lose you obsession.
