How to cheer a girl up?

I’m in highschool, and I’ve been flirting with a girl, we have each other on snap and have a streak going. She snapped me a picture of her in the mirror. She looked beautiful, but I noticed that there was writing on it, “I’m skinny”, “I’m not fat”, “I’m beautiful”. I was concerned, she definitely wouldn’t be described as fat, nor would she be described as scrawny and skinny either. I’m concerned and want to make her feel better, how should I do that? Or is it none of my business?

Dang dude, that's pretty heavy shit she's going through. Body image stuff can really mess with a girl's head, especially in high school. Good lookin out for noticing and wanting to help lift her up.

Maybe reach out just to let her know you saw the snaps and you think she looks great the way she is. Saying something simple like "Hey just wanted to let you know you don't need to write that stuff - you're beautiful naturally." Could help her feel validated comin from a guy she's been chatting with.

You could also ask if she wants to grab food after school one day this week - getting together in person when she's down might cheer her up more. Taking her mind off it with some laughs could help more than complimenting her looks alone.

If she opens up about why she's feelin that way, just listen without judgement. Let her know everyone struggles with confidence sometimes and you're there if she needs an ear. Important not to make it a big deal though - gotta keep it light and fun mostly!
