Am I more of a tomboy or a girly girl type?

I love beautiful, well designed clothes. I love pretty rings, good shoes and nice but practical and not overly fussy handbags, but I generally prefer wearing trousers and yoga pants and Trackies to dresses, as they’re more practical and comfortable. I prefer dressing casually and I prefer not wearing makeup. I do like to do yoga, watch live bands perform, listen to old rock music and watch old movies at old fashioned cinemas. My idea of the perfect date is a picnic or bbq in the park, or going out for pizza and watching an old movie. Half my friends are women, half are men. I also like swimming, walking and aerobics and gym. I like watching tennis, swimming and ice hockey, but in general, I’m not interested in watching or playing other sports. I’m always nicely dressed, even in casual clothes. I can’t really tell which I am. Am I a tomboy, or a girly girl?

I don’t find you a tomboy. When it comes to makeup on woman less is more in my opinion. I love women in casual attire I find it very appealing and then the inverse is true dressing up is sexy. But casual is just as or more. A girl in leggings and a hoodie is hot.

Tomboys are a lot of fun as long as they clean up well and can be girly for the right occasions.

There is no stand... unless you just want to piss all over your legs. You have to squat when you pee in the woods if you're a girl, or it'll go all over. It's just anatomically impossible and has nothing to do with being a "tomboy."

No way to aim, except "down". Yeah, it dribbles all down your legs and makes a big mess. It was interesting trying to figure out how to use a traditional Japanese (floor) toilet too. You have to get everything down to about your knees, squat flat-footed and hold your pants out of the way while you let go behind you so there's no splash back. Luckily, I'd done enough yoga before that to know how to squat with flat feet instead of the unstable ball-of-feet squat in the West usually do. (Roommate's girlfriend did this in China, fell over/into the toilet and broke her leg).

At another time (while hiking), I was hiking in the snow, went behind a tree and leaned my back against the tree for support (before I got more balanced at squatting on my own), and then I got stuck... I couldn't stand up. Not because my legs were weak, but because my backpack was caught up in the branches... ended up having to pitch forward, straddling the stream of pee, into the snow, and crawl out on my hands and knees with my pants around my ankles before I could stand up and try to get my pants up before someone came by...
