It can be depending on who you ask. I tend to think it’s cute w girls who wear something like vans. But at the same time, especially w men not wearing socks their feet tend to stink worse so that sweat is usually absorbed in the shoe than the sock. So maybe that’s why she said that about you not wearing socks w your shoes. It sounds stupid but I think it’s ok w vans or something similar to that but not w shoes like basketball shoes, high tops, etc.

I don't really care personally. If I'm cold at home I wear warm socks and I will keep them if I leave home. But most of the time I just go barefoot at home because I don't need socks and I just sleep into my shoes like this. I don't feel any differences
