Girls, why do some women belittle me or laugh at me for liking their scent?

I'm a heterosexual male. I generally enjoy the scent of a woman (obviously, some exceptions), but I don't understand why I would be made to feel bad about this by some women. Can you explain this?

No I really can't explain why anyone would belittle you for that. Trashy toxic girls might? I really have no clue. Unless you are being creepy about it to say a stranger but otherwise unsure why a girl would do that. By scent are you referring to her perfume or shampoo or lotion? Like what scent are you referring to? I would take someone saying I smell good as a compliment. I don't use a ton of perfume. Mostly I just go with body mostiorizer and smell like what that stuff smells like. I guess you might be able to smell the shampoo and conditioner I use. I can but naturally because my hair is all around my face unless I have it pulled up.
