I know I probably won't get too many answers, but it is worth talking about.
A lot of creepy guys say we have daddy issues, but actually it made me a strong woman. You have to be, the world is a cruel place to maneuver.

I didn't grow up fatherless but, most often, my dad wanted nothing to do with me and even wished me dead at at least one point so, I also had to learn a lot of stuff on my own. Even when he tried to teach me shit, I didn't want to be around him because he would almost ALWAYS end up screaming his fucking head off at me for really stupid reasons or just no reason at all! Nothing I ever did was any good for him. It was mostly his fault because he such a short fuse and almost no patience at all for me! In as such, even when WAS trying to help me with things like, learning to read a clock, what kept me FROM doing so well was knowing that if I made the slightest mistake, he'd get pissed and start yelling at me, again!! So, I'd just give ANY answer rather than none.

I had the opposite with my Dad because he is dead mute, but I could still tell when he was mad. He was very theatrical and would act out that he was mad. His hands would do sign language really fast, and his body got animated.
I took a course when I was pregnant to learn sign language because he wanted to visit the baby when he was born. I couldn't wait to tell him I learned sign language. I showed him the book I learned from and he did the sigh for the word wrong at me and threw the book across the living room.
Apparently they were experimenting with a more modern sign language at the time I took the class, but I didn't know that! ๐
He told the family it was easier for me to learn sign language than for him to learn to talk and hear!
He doesn't like girls, and my Mom had 2 girls from him. So he abandoned us and never paid child support but got married right away after I was born and bought a brand new 2 story house, drove a fancy car and had two boys together. But she divorced him because he wasn't nice to hear either. But the boys got child support. The girls got nothing!
I looked him up on the internet the other day because I didn't know if he was still alive. Yeppers! The asshole is 95 now and he's still not sending me my due child support.
So I guess you ad both had our share of bad experience with having a dad. Thank goodness I only saw him a handful of times my whole life.

**correction** deaf mute not dead mute. Damn phone โ๏ธ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
I noticed a number of mistakes but I won't say anything (after this).
I played this at dad's funeral and cried like a baby.

I had to learn that when you've got a conga line of would be step dads brought in by your slut mother that at least 2 will groom you and one will rape you.
So sad to hear about your past. Hopefully you have gotten out of that environment.
I'm a more or less fatherless man. Same thing.
