They don't like red pill because it swings too far to placing a woman beneath the man. I personally don't blame them for not liking it.

A relationship should be about balance and compromise. Often when I listen to red pill discussions there is very little compromise with the opposite sex. So while the male should be the primary decision maker he has to learn to lead with a very soft touch or he can inadvertently invalidate the feelings and thoughts of his female partner.

There is no equal partnership though. Thats a societal fallacy. Women want their man to lead and take charge. They want a man that knows what he's doing. Just from that aspect, how is that an equal partnership?

Equal in this context means of equal value, though different. It doesn’t mean men and women are the same in all ways. *Some women* want their men to lead, and those that do, want men to lead with humility and service, with honor to her and their children’s needs and desires, which is what much of the red pill ignores. Leadership isn’t about being the boss.

In general women want their man leading. Its instinctive nature. And leading doesn't mean being a boss, sure. But its about being the decision maker. If you're the leader, logically you're making the final call

Well, therein lies another part of the problem with the red pill. Women are realizing the decisions being made with most of today’s men cater to his interest, not hers.

Sorry to interject here, but I personally think it depends on the guy/person. Many guys don't ask the opinion of the female, especially "Alpha" males so women are left feeling outside of the decision making conversation, which leaves them feeling less than equal.

It does depend on the person, but I do see a lot of red pill men that have this my way or the highway mentality, and it’s not going to go over well with most women unless they’re doormats. And sadly, there are some prominent voices in red pill that do have wives involved in their work that are just … it’s pathetic how they allow their husbands to humiliate them.

I appreciate that my husband truly wants me to have at least half of the influence and decision making power in the relationship. he’s generally more passive anyway, which is fine with me as long as I’m not doing it all. Regardless, it’s essential that both partners needs and desires are met.

Sorry to interject myself again but "Asker" when I was young married and naive, I too believed similar to you and created a miserable relationship for the woman I loved. It took me years to realize that the traditional roles I was taught is both right and wrong. Right in that it can work this away because of our chemical make-up and the differences between men and women, but wrong due to the context and how we are often taught it. It took a pastor named Jimmy Evans to express the truth of what marital equality should look like to bring down the scales on my eyes. Since then I have been able to turn my views around and treat her differently making for a much better relationship.

At the end of it all marriage should be a partnership and if one party claims too much authority in that partnership the other party will become miserable. Balance is necessary and must be struck between two unique people. This is no consistent way of this because every couple is different. But I do know the woman must feel heard in all decisions, whether you, as the male, side with her or not and there should also be room for her to make her own decisions even if they go against what you the male feel is right.

Only in this way can you find real compatibility with someone. We all need room to grow and make mistakes.

The “Red Pill” is so much more expansive than simply gender issues. It’s gets too convoluted in the politics of gender roles that people forget it also has more to do with society as a whole.
