When do you think women made the turn from wanting genuine relationships to just attention and hookups?

I have always preferred relationships over hookups - even pre-internet ( since you will judge my age 😃)

It seems a thing that’s pushed for “gender equality” - see we can do this too…. At least that’s how I see it.
we can do all these things that men used to be stereotyped with:
we can drink like men, have hookups like men etc …

To create a relationship, two ready for that people have to meet...

lot of factors
for example hookup culture taking over many lifestyles
normalizing sleeping around n with whoever
seeking others validation even if it means sleeping with em after 1 hour of meeting em
social media influencing young women that hookups r empowering em
etc
