I think she appreciates you following her social media accounts first and reciprocates by following yours too. The same thing happened to me and my friend, I followed him back because he followed me first even though we weren't that close.

I also experienced an almost similar situation with the same person as the friend I was referring to. In my opinion, if he didn't do anything outrageous to me then I would just act normal. That was my response to my friend, although I suspect he was also avoiding me because there was a misunderstanding between me and another friend which was made worse by incitement so that all my friends avoided me. So, perhaps the person you are referring to is someone who doesn't care about past problems and over time will let go of everything that has happened, then yes, she can still follow you.

I have known her for years. We used to work together. We already dealt with each other not in a relationship but we had a falling out.
