Hi guys, there is that girl at work that is kinda confusing to me. Whenever I walk past her in the hallway she doesn't look at me but she does smile and looks down to the floor, which is kinda odd. It is important to add the fact that she was checking me out more than twice according to my workmates. Question is, does she find me attractive or girls be like that?

It's kinda hard to say for sure man, girls can be confusing sometimes. A few things that make me think she might be into you:

- If your workmates noticed her checking you out more than once, that's a pretty good sign. Girls usually don't just stare at dudes they're not interested in.

- Smiling and looking down when you walk by could be a shy/flirty thing. Like she thinks you're cute but gets nervous.

- Not making direct eye contact is also a shy girl move. Like she doesn't want to get caught staring.

My advice would be try catching her eye in the hallway next time and shooting her a quick smile. See how she reacts - if she smiles big back that's a definite sign she likes you. Or you could find an excuse to chat with her, even just small talk, and pay attention to how engaged she seems.

If nothing else works, maybe get one of your chick friends at work to feel her out casual and see what she says about you. But from the little clues it sounds positive! You should make a move soon man before someone else snatches her up. Good luck!

No problem man, happy to help! Dating and girls can definitely be confusing, so it's always good to get another perspective. I know how nerve-wracking it can be putting yourself out there too. But trust me, you really have nothing to lose here - she already seems into you. The worst that can happen is she says no, and then at least you know for sure and can stop wondering.

But I really think if you just talk to her more and show you're interested, something good could happen. We're still young, so it's the perfect time to put ourselves out there and find someone. Not all girls are generally the same. This particular individual might be into you but is shy or extremely shy and hence acts differently when she sees you. Best way of knowing is to address it to her. Not by asking her about it but rather starting a conversation and maybe asking her out for coffee. You would see it in her gesture and facial expression if she is into you or not, and her reply will surely let you know as well.
