Why does this girl at work keep saying Hi to me when I avoid her? ?

Chick I work with has a boyfriend and i feel lead me on, we use to talk 24/7 for 2 months straight so now I avoid her but she won't stop saying HI & trying to talk to me I always respond and say what's up but that's it & i don't even look at her and walk away I even changed the times I clock in to avoid her and I stay away from early morning meetings to avoid her. She even told me she barely see's me but still hasn't gotten the message I don't wanna talk or say hi.

Should I tell her or text her to leave me alone? Or should I just not even respond to her hi's anymore.

She probably thinks there is something wrong since you two used to talk all the time and she is just trying to start that conversation again and isn't taking the hint that you aren't interested anymore. You can go the route of not responding to her but it doesn't sound like that is going to do much since she is so persistent. So your options are pretty limited and basically what you have already said. You just have to tell her straight up that you aren't interested in talking. I don't really get the reason you can't just say hi though. That is pretty basic interaction at work. Is it really that much of a bother to say hello in response and then go about your day? Doesn't mean you have to have a full on conversation. If that starts just tell her you aren't interested in that sort of relationship (talking 24/7) anymore.

She cut it off cause she has a boyfriend and ever since then I just don't wanna talk to her anymore. She said he didn't care and then out of the blue said he did care. She just plays to many games and I fell for her anyway now I wanna get over her

She did lead me on constantly trying to invite me out to drink with her while she has a boyfriend and told me she liked me while she was "drunk" and more and would just flirt with me all the time and be on my hip 24/7 whether it's text or at work. People at work even thought we were dating.

Ah okay, well just say hi to her back to avoid any drama. If you start ignoring her, it will likely get around and people will think you're being rude to her. Also it might cause unnecessary conflict if you start telling her you don't want to talk to her. You don't have to engage with her, just be civil and do the minimum needed to be respectful.

I have been doing that but she will try to start a conversation with me anyway. So I have to walk away.

Yo dude, sounds like she's getting in your head a bit if you're going through all that trouble avoiding her. I'd just keep it straightforward but not a dick about it.

When she says hi, just say "hey" back with a nod, no smile or eye contact. Then keep walking without engaging more. Keeping things casual acquaintance level without being rude should get the message across.

If that doesn't work after a bit, you can always say "Look, I'd rather keep things strictly professional between us at work, k?" But try grey rocking first before needing to explicitly say anything.
