This question is meant for guys to answer, girls are free to answer but please don't say anything rude. I was a little annoyed with a girl I matched with. I took initiative to find out what she likes. She told me her brother passed away, she's divorced a guy because he cheated on her, has a 3yr old son. I told my mom I'd be willing to move to a different state and treat her son like my own. The fact that she ended it yesterday saying not husband material, defended myself & gave her my two cents.

The thing about opinions is it's built on our limited impression of someone's entire life. Think of how silly it is for someone to say you aren't fit to be a husband for the billions of women in the world. It's nonsensical. Like every talk down opinion, they hold very little weight and should be ignored.

If she is saying that right off the bat then there's something that you're kind of obviously doing, saying or giving off that tells her to avoid you because she's specifically looking to get hitched.

Nah I find it rude when someone says that and barely gets to know the guy. Girls automatically assume the guy must have been some bozo with a stupid joke that was cringe or made a sexual advancement, no that wasn't the case. She told me I think you’re a smart guy, a really nice guy, nothing is wrong with you I just don’t feel a connection. I think it’s really stupid because if a girl doesn’t know the guy then to say that is rude, I don’t make up stuff in my mind to underhand a subtle insult comment. Guys and men don’t wanna hear that stuff.

I honestly don't think it's just a girl thing. I've seen guys do the same thing to girls (a little cruder since there are fewer words and more gestures or actions). They're just people who enjoy drama. Don't let it get to you. Dust yourself off and try again.

Here’s the thing I know girls are more likely to be in relationships and get married at much faster rates then guys, I’m not some fat slob who isn’t doing anything with his life. I work 2 jobs and doing my masters and exercising. Even right now I have to put my phone away, go for a 1 hr walk then weight lift afterwards. The point is I’m in my 30s and I’ve constantly been bitched at by girls especially for the last few years. From girls asking ME for dick pics, to girls asking me for 3 somes (me, another dude and her), to girls saying be a man and join the army and fight overseas to a girl who I thought liked me only to have wasted my 10 months and now is married to others saying you’re not my type or your not husband material. I’ve had enough now. Even my mom told me that she knows many ladies and even these ladies are like I don’t know why young women are so picky these days. I don’t look at these girls as 10/10s but they act like it or they’re entitled to make rude comments to guys. That’s what I don’t like, eventually dusting myself off eventually becomes who fucking cares, I do have confidence and I do believe I would be a great father and husband one day. But when you get rejected for years and you have generally tried on a spiritual level, academic level, financial level, employment/job level, focusing on the future, being smart/independent and conscious of life choices…it shouldn’t be this hard. I know guys who got married that don’t have jobs and are extremely impatient guys, yet they got blessed. I’m done trying now.

i didn't tell her off, all I said was, listen we've been talking for a few weeks if you dont feel the chemistry thats fine but please don't say I'm not husband material when I try to look at myself as a family guy. I told her, to be a man means you help cook and clean, you work, you have desire and drive in life, affectionate, caring, helping the community, etc. In fairness she told me I dont feel chemistry because you're not husband material. I didn't bash her as a single mom. As a guy I don't understand when girls say, I don't feel chemistry, like I know what it means. But im not hard headed where girls have to like the music I listen to or agree on every political view or enjoy the sports I like or how I want my pizza to be made. I think what makes a relationship special is learning from other people. It's like being on a sports team, people can be different but share the same common life goals. I wished her well and her family well and unmatched with her and blocked her on IG.
