My coworker is new at our job. I’ve oriented her for 3 months. We get along great, have a lot in common. She has started bringing in home cooked meals for me (as well as herself) for lunch. Every now and then we’ll take lunch at the same time but not always. Even then there’s always people in the break room. She says it’s a token of appreciation. She was very nervous coming in and I’ve helped guide her and have always been nice to her. I didn’t think it was a big deal. I casually mentioned it to my wife and she was NOT happy. I don't know it wasn’t a big deal to me. My wife is not really a cooker so it’s nice having a home cooked meal at work that I didn’t have to prepare. My wife thinks it’s crossing the line. I think she’s overreacting.

If she’s doing it for everyone else, sure. But just for the two of them? Yes that’d bother me. And it’d bother my boyfriend if I made lunch for just me and my male coworker as well.
I used to make lunch for my coworkers, but when I did it was enough for everyone or just for my friends with benefits.
Wait until your wife’s male coworker buys her lunch and flowers. You’ll feel how she feels
Would it bother u , if your wife’s male co worker , gave her money for clothes , food , transport , or volunteered to pay lot more than food? For her
