What does it mean when a girl smirks at you?

I was sitting at a table in an upscale restaurant/bar recently with some friends and when the waitress brought our drinks over, I looked up at her and she was subtly smiling at me, and our eye contact lingered. Then time passed, and at the very end of the meal we were all putting our coats on to leave. As I stood up with my coat on and my bags in my hands I noticed she was standing to the right of me, presumably waiting for us to go to clear the table next to us. So I turned my head to the right to glance at her, and her face had the expression of a smirk — eyelids half closed, lips pursed, and a sly amused or complicit smile. What does that mean? My best guess is that she knew I thought she was attractive, and she was teasing me with that smile. But is she only playing with me, or did she think I was attractive as well? I thought about it and personally, I would not smile with eye contact or smirk at someone I was not at all attracted by. Anyway, please let me know what you think!

Ok I think it was a dominance smile, like a sneery smirk, which is not very nice. Oh well!
