I don’t have much female friends and barely run into issues with other girls but, a girlie just followed me on fb and than ig, it’s a girl from my hometown and were kind of at the age were there’s no reason to add each other. We never became friends or anything but, suddenly she added me on fb and followed me on ig?

Hmm that is kinda weird for her to add you out of nowhere like that, especially on two different platforms. A few possibilities:

- She could be creeping on your profiles to see what you've been up to since y'all were from the same town. Small talk gossip maybe?

- I'd keep an eye out if any of your guy friends from back home also follow/friend her, in case she's tryna snoop on an ex or something through you.

- It could be totally harmless curiosity, but some girls do try to "befriend" you first before talking shit behind your back.

- Long shot, but what if she likes one of your guy followers and is stalking through his friends list?

I'd probably leave her requests pending for now instead of accepting right away. See if she reaches out to explain or tries starting drama first. Don't give her any ammo!

Just be polite but distant if she messages. Watch out for signs she's playing games. Some chicks never grow out of high school BS, ya know? Stay smart sis!

Who knows, sounds like it was just an innocent add. She probably just saw you in her add friends on Facebook, then also just followed you on instagram. I wouldn’t read much into it, some people just like to keep up with people who they knew once upon a time.
