The past couple months I been feeling good focusing on myself work and school. Then met this guy at work known each other for good while and ever since our feelings opened up to each other I been getting anxious and overthinking. I don't know if it’s just my “time of the month” making me moody since I do feel like crap or it’s him. It’s bugging me cause I hardly stress and I’m trying to think of what to do to calm me down.

Ugh girl I feel ya, hormones can really mess with our emotions and mental state sometimes! It's so easy to start overthinking everything when PMS hits.
But don't be too hard on yourself either - opening up to a new guy is also just nerve wracking in general. Especially someone you see everyday at work too, there's a lot riding on it working out.
A few things that might help calm you down:
- Track your cycle in an app so you know when PMS is extra strong and can give yourself grace.
- Spend time with supportive girlfriends to vent and get perspective. Their reassurance always lifts me up.
- Do soothing activities like yoga, relaxation baths, journaling your thoughts out. Get those anxious feelings moving.
- Communicate openly with the guy about where you're at without blaming him. Chances are he just wants you to feel good!
Your feelings are valid no matter the cause. Be gentle with yourself - this too shall pass. Ride the wave til your hormones settle and try not to make any big decisions in the meantime. You've got this sis!
Thank you appreciate it! I have calmed down since my PMS went away but I do still get a little anxious but not as bad, will definitely talk to him tho.
That's good to hear your PMS has eased up a bit, hormones can really mess with our heads! I totally get the leftover anxiety too though, it takes time to fully shake that off. Talking with your guy is such a good idea - communication is key, especially when new feelings are involved. I'm sure just explaining to him where you're at emotionally will help you both feel more secure in whatever this is between you. Guys appreciate straightforwardness too. And hey, don't be too hard on yourself if anxieties still creep up sometimes - that's normal! As long as you've got each other's backs and keep connecting regularly, you'll settle into a nice groove together for sure. Wishing you both the best! Let me know how the chat goes - I'm always here if an extra supportive ear is needed too. You've got this sis!
Wait till your period is over and reassess how you feel.
