Cup all the way, occasionally period underwear if heavier than normal but I’m actively making an effort to lessen my consumption of disposable products. I started using a cup a few years a ago and it stopped all cramps and lessened my period from 5-6 days to 3 so I’d never go back. Once you get passed the ick factor there are no negatives
Side note, it’s really weird how defensive people get about how their choice and that it must be superior to all others... enough to make up total bullshit 😂
There is literally no infection you can get from pads and TTS is a legitimate and serious concern when using tampons 🙄
I'm definitely a tampon girl during the day and a pad girl at night.
Since having a baby a few months ago I don't want to go back to using my tampons just yet. So I use pads and I look gorry when I go to pee I hate it. I'm really surprised many girls say pads I've always hated them. Tampons are super comfortable and leave your crotch cool not warm and swampy. Plus I do not like looking down and seeing all my blood or feeling it drip down into the pad just yuck.
Since I'm new to pads how long do you ladies keep these things on for? Cause last time I just changed them every 4 to 6 hrs because fear of sweat and bacteria growth.
How do u make sure the blood goes into the pad? Like I don't know if my panties are too lose or what but it rarely goes into the pad it stays up in that area instead of soaking into the pad.
No its heavy i just never get blood on pad. Had that issue woth tampons to mostly never went on pad
Pads for when I'm at home, tampons when I go out. Tampons are a life saver, for years I've despised the feeling of sitting down then having tons of blood leak out at once the moment I stand up and not being able to clean up immediately because I'm outside or when I'm walking. Sadly tampons gotta be changed often when the flow is heavy and that's sometimes not really ideal in certain situations. I feel too scared to sleep with one because of possible toxic shock. But damn do I wish I could! I hate the surprise leaking in the morning.
Cotton tampons are safe
Pads but mine hasn't been on since July. It just won't come on 🤦♀️ It keeps skipping like 6 months after coming on once a month, three months in a row
Nope. I hate going to the doc. The one time i did go to the gyno, he wanted to put me on BC. I refuse to be on that stuff
6 months of no period is NOT normal.
I go with pads all the time. No hate on tampons but I've tried them and just feel more comfortable with pads. You won't have leaks if your size is right, and I just worry less with pads.
I use tampons and period panties. I've tried the cups but those dont feel right inside me. Pads are like wearing a diaper so only thing that works for me is tampons.
What panties? Like do you not leak at all?
Pads cause I know there's some tissue in there as well lol and I feel weird plugging the hole up when I wanna get that shit out.
You’re not plugging it. The tampon soaks the blood.
Yes it does stick to it
Educate yourself.
No good for you being so uneducated.
Yeah someone had to say it.
pads! I've used a tampon once in my life. I wear a pad with period panties and it gives me 110% confidence that I'll have no leaks.
Pads at night. Then a mix of pad/tampon through the day.
I just let it flow all over the place. The bed, the pavement, my jeans, the seat on the bus...
I use to wear tampons when I was in school because it's was convenient but now I only wear pads.
Pads
Never used anything else and i don't want to try anything else. I feel more comfortible with pads.
pads aren’t the most sanitary 😳 you GaG girls here are scaring me 😂
@Hangry22 Lmao.. I swear that's how it felt when I tried them. 😂
@babysteph It's easy to get an infection from tampons too, considering that they are literally holding blood that's supposed to be coming out inside of you. You can't exactly keep them in over night either. You can keep a pad on for a longer time and not have to worry about getting a life threatening infection.
Honestly, I don't know why you're being judgy about this. It's common knowledge that pads are safer and I'm sure that's why a lot of women prefer them over tampons. The main complaint I hear about pads is that it feels like you're wearing a diaper, so I understand why some women choose tampons. But I would rather use something that carries less of a risk.
Since I can choose when to have my period with my birth control it’s lighter so tampons I use to wear a cup but I got tired of it.
Right now pads. Before when I had a heavier flow I used tampons.
Tampons.. because you don't feel them and you can do all activities without worrying about leaking pads and wet ass discomfort.
Pads, 100%. I don't fancy the thought of getting TSS and going to the hospital!
The solution is cotton tampons.
Pads, lol I’m too afraid to stick a tampon or anything else in there 😅
I feel like I’d hurt myself trying to do that. Pads are just easier for me.
I have only used pads
#PadGirl4ever
I do pads when I’m at home, but tampons when I’m out, since I’m always paranoid that my pad outline is showing.
Pads mainly buy they can be annoying if they don't sit properly with the panties.
Pads, Never got use to the tampon feeling.
I prefer to use a cup.
I will always prefer pads
I do c with period underwear
Considering yeeting my uterus out the window.
I have only ever used tampons.
Tampons and birth control pill.
Pads are more comfortable for me.
Pads
