Side note, it’s really weird how defensive people get about how their choice and that it must be superior to all others... enough to make up total bullshit 😂There is literally no infection you can get from pads and TTS is a legitimate and serious concern when using tampons 🙄
That's what I'm saying! 😂 I get why a lot of women choose tampons, but there are times when even I forget that I'm wearing a pad. So I know that I'd forget that I'm wearing a tampon. It's not worth the risk, in my opinion.
@beebella Thank you so very much indeed for the MHGirl.Merry Christmas and please do take care and stay safe. x

Yeah, about 4-6 hours. You can wear them a little longer than that if you have a light flow, but obviously you're probably going to have to change them more frequently on the heavy days.
How do u make sure the blood goes into the pad? Like I don't know if my panties are too lose or what but it rarely goes into the pad it stays up in that area instead of soaking into the pad.
Are you sure you don't just have a light flow?
No its heavy i just never get blood on pad. Had that issue woth tampons to mostly never went on pad
Cotton tampons are safe
Omg, have you seen a doc about that?
Nope. I hate going to the doc. The one time i did go to the gyno, he wanted to put me on BC. I refuse to be on that stuff
Well, if you're having problems with your period, then you probably should see a doctor. Sure, it could just be stress, but there could also be something wrong. You never know.
6 months of no period is NOT normal.
What panties? Like do you not leak at all?
You’re not plugging it. The tampon soaks the blood.
Doesn't soak up the chunks lmao
Yes it does stick to it
Ok girl, suuureeee...
My preference is my preference. I want that shit out. You want to soak in it for a few hours. Good for you 👍
No good for you being so uneducated.
Yeah someone had to say it.
The hero we needed 👏👏👏
What's your preference?
I don’t have a period anymore but when I did I used tampons. Never had a problem with them and they kept me at the peak of health
Well, I've never had a problem with pads either. 🤷♀️
It’s just easier to get an infection with them and most of the name brand ones have some really harmful chemicals in them
But doesn't tampons feel like a small dick stuck inside?🤔
@Hangry22 No, not at all. Most of the ones on the market today are slim and flexible and absorbent. They do the job without the user noticing.
Can they be used for heavy flow?
@Hangry22 yeah absolutely. You can change them as many times as you wish and they’re virtually mess free. Never had a heavy flow but that sounds as if it would be ideal to me
@Hangry22 Lmao.. I swear that's how it felt when I tried them. 😂@babysteph It's easy to get an infection from tampons too, considering that they are literally holding blood that's supposed to be coming out inside of you. You can't exactly keep them in over night either. You can keep a pad on for a longer time and not have to worry about getting a life threatening infection.
sitting in your own blood is more likely to cause an infection than inserting something that absorbs it and then removing it. and if a tampon felt like a penis to you then.. wow.
Honestly, I don't know why you're being judgy about this. It's common knowledge that pads are safer and I'm sure that's why a lot of women prefer them over tampons. The main complaint I hear about pads is that it feels like you're wearing a diaper, so I understand why some women choose tampons. But I would rather use something that carries less of a risk.
I’m not judging at all. Each woman is entitled to do what she thinks is best for her, of course. I’m just expressing my support of tampons as someone who’s had a great experience with them and thinks they’re safer and more sanitary than pads.
The solution is cotton tampons.
I feel like I’d hurt myself trying to do that. Pads are just easier for me.
