Ladies... how often do you change bags/purses? What makes changing up your bag/purse necessary? (Special events, shifting from work to home, "Mom Bags", etc.)

I am a collector of bags. But what usually makes me change it out for another one is when there is too much stuff in it and I can hardly close it. I just usually buy a new one.
I really don't like cleaning out my bags and then just putting the stuff right back into the same one.
Before crime got so bad, and since Iive in a high crime city I haven't felt comfortable talking my bag shopping out where some punk kids can grab it away from me and run off with it.
So I just carry some cash with me and put it in an envelope and put it in a folder that has pockets in it. I don't need my ID card cause my friend drives me everywhere.
I have a leather zippered wallet from Overland and I change out my bags seasonally. I use a tote/wallet combo and keep a kit of necessities in the car (nail clippers, measuring tape, flashlight, etc.). I don't like hauling around tons of stuff and I like to be able to put my purchases in my tote. I hate the bags with brand names plastered all over them, so I try to find small companies who are ethical.
Spring: Basket tote
Summer: Canvas tote
Fall: Leather tote
Winter: Heavy knit or textile tote
I switch it up sometimes if I find something I love, but that's my general go-to.
Similar to what I do. Seasonal purse and, my tote / work bag during the week. If I have a car there’s a necessities pouch for that. Very practical and lightweight is the most important for me.
As for the name brand stuff, I agree! I always say if I’m sporting something with a brand name stamped all over it they should be paying me to walk around with it! 😂
The one I really like right now is from Uniqlo (super lightweight, waterproof and a little sporty for the summer, easy to clean).
Never. I only carry a small bag of some sort of I'm out for the whole day and I need to put something to do to keep busy in it like a tablet or drawing stuff or a craft project. Or if I'm going to valley fair and need to keep lots of stuff like sunscreen, cash, phone, female products.
I have two tiny backpacks and I use both on a daily basis. One for my drum pad and drumsticks, and the other for everything else that matters.
yeah. thanks.
