Girls, do you ALWAYS take your handbag out with you, when you go out?

For instance: I can be quite "lazy" and just go out with my jacket, phone and my debit card.
I don't want to always be carrying a bag with me, small or otherwise.

Oh no, I hate purses/handbags. I have one, but only bring it when I absolutely have to- such as when I have no pockets.

Otherwise, I carry change and my debit card in my pockets.

No. Two nights ago I found out a big mistake I had made.
I was buying brandy to cook Christmas goodies with and was carded. (joy lol) I was in my motorcycle gear flipping through my metal wallet for my ID, I rarely use. I transfer this back and forth between my vehicle handbag and my motorcycle jacket pocket.
I couldn’t find my ID. And they wouldn’t let me get the Brandy.
Came home upset I would have to wait four hours at the DMV to get a new ID and finally remembered where I last used it. Oct 1 at an urgent care. It was in a jacket pocket that had gone through the wash.
Two months and a week been riding around without my drivers license. 😱 So yeah. Being more careful on the switch from now on.

I'm an artist who carries to many supplies with me at all times. so I usually have some kind of messenger bag or sash purses with me. they contain my phone, wallet, sketchbook pencil case and sometimes laptop or tablet. I also understand not wanting to wear a bag if you just have a phone wallet and keys. You don't have that much to carry so just put in your pockets

I only do it because it has my life-saving things in it, and going anywhere without them is potentially signing up for an early grave. But if I didn't have to, I would only leave home with my keys, wallet, and phone. Way too much hassle.

I’ve never had use for a hand bag. Nothing I need fits in there. I like to be irritated for emergencies. Can’t fit much in a hand bag. I bring a messenger or back pack, always

Sorry. They have straps little larger than wallet, has Betty Boop on it and hods “basics”. Can be worn across or over her body. One of those carrying things.

Once dated a woman that carried all of her necessary cards in a wallet. That she would carry in her pocket. If it was that time of the month. She had a double barreled holder that would also be carried in one of her pockets.
So nice not to have to hold a purse while she did whatever!

In a silly sort of way I would feel somewhat "undressed" if I didn't have one with me.

Usually I don’t. I just grab my essentials and put them in my pockets. I don’t take my bag unless I’m going out to buy something or if I’m spending more than a few hours out.

Yes, pretty much. It's rare for me not to. It makes it easier to carry my wallet, keys, and anything else.

I never use a bag really. I keep my keys in my jacket pocket, and my card and ID in the back of my phone case. I keep my phone in my pocket too

I always take my handbag or sling bag along when i am going outside firstly it works as an accessory to my look secondly if i like something and buy it i will be able to carry that in my bag
