In modern society I agree with it, pearl is known for being very much pro traditional wife stuff so not really a surprising tweet. The thing is I don't fault girls for the choices they make in that regard unless it leads them to ruining their lives, then you can say its their fault. That college guy she lost her virginity to? He may have set her up for success later on after giving her a hopefully beautiful first experience to relationships and what to look for in the next partner. The player who doesn't want them? That's a valuable life lesson. The one night stand? Bad idea, but hey who knows maybe she doesn't treat her virginity as anything special and enjoys hookup culture.
Ultimately its much more about who you become as a result of these experiences, obviously there are dealbreakers and different partners she will date will have different dealbreakers. Most men don't want you if you did onlyfans for example. But at some point everyone your age already lost their virginity to someone else, waiting until marriage is rare on both parts. So if neither values virginity as much as they used to way back is it really an issue that virginity is lost if otherwise the outcome of it wasn't a negative one?
Majority of women who have sex for the first time are probably not going to spend their whole life with the person, probably done to get it over with / horniness in HS & College years, etc. probably not husband…
Majority of women who plan on saving sex for their life partner will have it with a boyfriend that becomes a husband, their husband.
Point being, factors at play matter since it is with the individual making their own decisions.
It's true for some women. But my sisters are married to the men who they lost their virginity to, so they would end up being the last one. But all I can say is if men are mad about not being the last one remember: You would've had to have been a virgin until marriage too in order for that to work. Some women do not wait because they know men aren't waiting, so why should they? But as for the other options, it's not bad so long as they were ready, wanting, and consented to have sex & be touched. It's bad when they don't have all of those in line, since it indicates no consent given.
But there's nothing wrong with that. I don't date a guy to break up. You hope that the man you date is going to be the one. He wasn't a bad guy either. We just grew apart. Love's difficult.
