Girls, what's so exciting and entertaining about your phones?

Uh we talk to friends (text), take pictures, shop, browse the internet, order food... just to name a few. I find it slightly ironic you are asking this since you will have done so through a phone, tablet or computer. For someone that spends a fair amount of time on this site may I ask what is so exciting about the device you use to spend all the time you do on here? My next question is do you not use your phone the way just about everyone else does? Hell I use mine to even tap pay for the grocery store. It is just a convenient device that serves so many purposes. The funny thing is I see guys glued to their phones just as much but you are subtlety trying to play it off that this is a girls thing and that no guy does it.

If I wasn't broke, I'd be on the beach now. Screen time would equal to no more than 5% of my time spent being on the beach.

But that isn't what you asked. You included a picture of the beach but the question wasn't why are on your phone at the beach all the time. You asked why is it entertaining, which I answered.

I use it when I'm bored or need to find a new recipe for diner but if not I don't use it much, it been 2 weeks my phone don't work and I don't miss it that much

I see this all the time. I worked at a college and I used to watch kids walking between classes, They would be in a group and none of them would be talking to each other but instead would be screwing with their phones. I imagine there is some kind of dopamine reaction that people get from their phones. I bet that since kids get cellphones at earlier ages before their brains are fully formed the problem will get worse.

That's a common thing now. I remember the times before smartphones occupied them for the majority of time spent together. Or before smartphones in general that is.

Girls that are less attractive can use filters and clever angles to get validation they would never get in real life. Of course guys do this too, but the polls generally say women do it more.

We are in a family vacation … family kids, fathers, moms, grandparents, teen boys, girls… all on cell phone on the beach/pool area.

When I'm on the beach, I use my devices by ~90% less.

Exactly! We were talking to a mother… father was standing by us for a brief moment… then picked up a call… was from work. It’s sad they can’t even enjoy their vacation.

The problem is… between social media and “work” school work… we have been forced to glue ourselves to the phone/computer. I hate it!

Kind of. But i still rather have that than the times before transistors were invented and made. Its a matter how we use it and not let us get chained to it.
