Why do I always feel like a creep when I talk to women?

It can be the most normal conversation with any woman and I feel like they can only see me as a weird freak who they can't wait for to stop talking

I experience this all the time.

When I give off a vibe that I can't wait for someone to stop talking, and I know what you mean when you say that, it's because somehow, something physical or romantic or sexual or whatever has gotten into the conversation.

Wow, you're really pretty. You are so hot. You have pretty hair. I like your skirt. Your skin looks so soft. You have pretty eyes. That top looks good on you. Do you like to wear bikinis? Your lips look nice. I like your feet. Those are short shorts. I'm just trying to remember the ones I've heard recently. That's how often it happens.

When that gets into the conversation with someone who is not my friend already, or my boyfriend, the conversation is over in my mind and I don't want it to go on, and I can't wait for that person to stop talking so I can get away from them.

If it's something unusual like I'm holding an alligator or wearing the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or setting fire to things and you say, wow, amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat you're wearing today, I like setting fire to things, hey I like your alligator, that's one thing, but all those other comments have no place in a conversation with someone you don't know, or are not friends with.

This may sound harsh, but guys don't realize how many times we get hit on in a day, from age 12 to age who knows, by guys of all ages, and how much we don't want it from strangers.

So talk about anything else on Earth except that.

And I am a nice person, but this is why that happens, which was the question.

Dude, I totally get feeling that way sometimes. Talking to girls can be nerve-wracking, especially if you feel like they're not that into you. But don't be so hard on yourself man, I'm sure you're not coming across as creepy.

A few things that might help - try to relax and don't overthink it so much. Girls can tell when a guy is super tense. Smile and make eye contact when talking to show you're friendly, not freaky. Also have an normal short convo and then leave her be if she seems busy, don't linger too long if she's not chatting back much.

And remember, every girl is different - some are just shy or in a rush so don't always take it personal. Easier said than done but try to have confidence in yourself! You seem like a cool dude.

Maybe join a club or meetup for a shared interest to meet girls in a low pressure environment. Could also try talking to girls with friends around at first until you feel more comfortable. You got this man, don't sweat it!
