Can a guy hit a girl if she hit him first?

Keep in mind this question is nuanced and I want to add context.

Hitting does not just mean one little bit or slap, and no he doesn't deserve it as women and even men often gaslight the victim of female violence. I'm asking if it's ok for him to use violence from a female assaulter in a serious situation.

I say no no matter what you have to walk away

I dated a girl and she was telling me before we even dated some of the boyfriends that she's had and some other guys that she knew that she hit and I said okay I said well you're lucky you probably didn't get your butt kicked and she said I could have taken them blah blah blah blah blah.

And in time our relationship is falling apart it really wasn't even a relationship I was just
Trying to help her through some times and we kind of got together and.

But anyway when we're both kind of tired of the relationship she started getting really really abusive verbally and. She was walking out of the garage and she started heading towards me and I could just see anger in her eyes and I said let me stop you right there I said if you think I'm one of your ex-boyfriends or one of the boys you have abused in your life if you think I'm going to put up with it you better think again because I will knock your ass out just a pre-worn her do not hit me do not touch me it's kind of like looked at me.

And I think she knew that I was serious

But if she would have swung at me I'm not sure what I would have done I think with her I probably would have hit her just for the fact that she thought she was so cute with all these other guys that she got away with something and something I don't believe in just because you think that your girl and you can hit and guys aren't supposed to hit you back I think that's one of the reasons why she did it

But I say no never swing on a girl because fuck you could kill them you can knock him out I mean you could really hurt them

But if a girl had the anger in her eyes that she was going to take your life in some manner I say go for it you have to protect yourself I mean that's with anybody

But I mean if it's like your girlfriend or something or whatever and you have an argument and she smacks you no you can't hit her back you have to just walk away

And I'll be totally honest there was one time I did hit a girl she had a bottle of vodka she was. A little bit of liberated and I reached down to take the bottle away from her and as I did I had my hand on it but she pulled it away and when she pulled it away she pulled it back up and was swinging it at my head and I mean is it went past my face it barely touched my eyebrow and I was going back because I saw it coming and she was going to crack me right in the face with it and I don't know if it was instinct or what but as I was moving backwards to miss being hit my hand was cocked and it was going forward and I punched her right in the face and that it was just instinct I think and I was going my fucking god that would have never crack my face wide open and it knocked your back pretty far and she got up and she goes I can't believe you hit me I said yeah me either and I can't... Believe you were going to smack me in the face with that bottle she goes I can't believe you hit me I started laughing I said yeah I know it was instinct you were going to hurt me bad and it was just a split second thing. She said out of all the guys that I've ever been with you're the last person in the world I think would do that I said yeah me too but something inside of me as I was moving backwards I knew you were going to hit my face and I was going to hit you before you hit my face but it didn't happen that way I said the end of that bottle barely touched my eyebrow and that would have just split my eye right open I can't believe you hit me I said me either but I did it and I would do it again
So I don't know if I was right or wrong there but I would do it again just for the fact a gallon bottle of vodka which in her strength it would have messed up my face

Best situation is to only do self defensive acts as such you can prove through forensics you weren't the perpetrator.
It's of course morally okay to hit a woman if they hit you but it been morally okay don't do anything for your legal defense when she starts saying you attacked her.

The smart thing is to take it and report it. And when she has no wounds?
And if she goes ahead tries to fake them, I do hope she's really skilled at that because forensics and specialists have only gotten better at noticing the difference between self inflicted and assault.

Then if she was trying to kill you, and you had no chance to turn it back on her not much you can do other than hope they do through analysis to figure out the truth.

No, nobody is allowed to hit someone else unless his life is actually seriously threatened of death. So basically if a women who is shorter and weight a lot less hit a man this will never be ok regarding the law to hit her back no matter how many time she hit you; is it different however if she's actually trying to kill you by stabbing you or with a gun (keep in mind though you're not allowed to defend yourself with a gun if she try to kill you with a knife if not you'll be considered as the bad guy and not someone trying to defend himself) this of course depend on your country, this is the laws in my country.

If his life or the lives (ex: coming after him with a knife or threatening to bomb the house) of others are at stake, he needs to defend himself. If that means hitting her to get away from the threat and save your life or others, so do it.

People should only use force in a legitimate self-defense situation. If it's a shove and you weren't in danger at all but just get violent out of retaliation for the sake ''I'll teach them a lesson'' thing (when it wasn't needed), that's not self-defense. You've just scooped yourself to their level by then.

I think it's a losing battle no matter which option you pick. If you retaliate, you'll be the villain. If you take the beating, you'll be the sissy.

If I was put in that situation I probably wouldn't hit the girl, but I wouldn't be a punching bag either. Just try to restrain her until she stops throwing a tantrum and then let go. Only way I will use force is if she had a deadly weapon.

Sure, if she hits him first, she deserves to get hit back.

It's no different than a small guy hitting a bigger, stronger guy. If he thinks he can do that and not get his ass handed to him, he's an idiot. The same is true of a woman who picks a fight with a guy.

So here's a really simple life hack that will serve anyone well. Don't pick a physical fight with someone who is bigger and stronger than you are, regardless of their gender or yours.

Yes he can, and he should. In fact, he has an obligation to. A women who hits a man first knows the only reason she can get away with it without repercussions is because he has been taught not to hit back. As a result, many women still think they can hide behind their gender and get away with assaulting a man. That needs to change, and the only way it will ever change is if men reset that expectation so women no longer think they can get away with it. Men owe it to each other to make that change.

Don't hit, the risk is you will break her skull or some bone, another risk is internal bleeding.

Instead, Hold that wrist, twist it around her to her back, and pin her down on the ground, until she calms down. or kick her legs, any damage on her legs won't kill her.

I'll defend myself. I've never thrown the first punch when someone decided to fight me, but I've never lost a fight.

If a girl hit me once I'd likely walk away or grab her wrist to stop a second blow, but if it was a full on assault I'll stop it by doing whatever works. I'd rather restrain her than hit her, but if that's not an option I'd hit back. I doubt I'd use full force, but I'm not going to let her beat me just because she's a woman.
