Why do you think women of today are such (for the lack of a better term) gold diggers?

Excuse the term gold digger. There is no catch all term for this. I could have said "money focused I guess.

But anyways I think it's because a couple generations ago women were relegated to the role of homemaker. Now that women have got glimpse outside the home they like it and want all that goes along with it supposedly. The cars, the clothes the toys, the status. All this requires money in our capitalistic society. Men have known for years., generations that this is hard fought slog to achieve. If you're not born with the means you have to climb the ladder of success to get there. This is where women are uniquely advantaged they can do sex work, strip, they don't even have to touch a gross guy. They can do all from behind a computer screen.

If you doubt what I say , I heard a woman in a conversation with another the other day say a man needs to make at least 120. Naturally I thought she meant 120k a yr. Which while high reaching enough, is still technically achievable. But no, she meant 120k a month. 🤯 The other woman said "a month"? "That's a little unrealistic don't you think"? "Not every guy can make that much in a months time. I mean my father doesn't make that much". And the first woman said yeah but that's because he's from a time when money was hard to get it's not like that anymore".

This woman did not strike me as that smart. So if she was serious. Does she really think that kind of money is just lying around for the avg. man? Considering how many women treat thier bodies as currency today, and the fact that that demographic only increases, has traditional relationships become permanently a thing of that past? Or do you think this is just a pendulum thing that has swung one direction and will swing back at some point.
