Girls, do (or did) you worry about losing your looks as you aged?

I don't think I did when younger. I didn't think I had good looks anyways. And I settled young.

Now.. well... I'm very aware although I always been blessed with looking ten years younger it's still a fact I'm older! So far it hasn't stopped my sex appeal. But... I am very aware that that clock is ticking. But I'm also aware that as long as I look after myself and dress and do my make up how I like and be myself it doesn't matter what others think.

I don't because I definitely got lucky with my genetics. I've always looked younger anyway. People still think I'm in highschool. My mom is in her 50s but looks like she's in her late twenties early thirties still. When we go places people have thought she's my sister instead of my mom.

That is why I will marry while I am in my very early twenties. I am aware that I will be losing my looks but after I am married it will not matter as much.

Be careful. People can marry and not last so it's not a guarantee. I met my husband at 19 but we broke up when I was 31.
Also many guys complain about how their partners stop looking after themselves once in a relationship.
I'm not saying that you should only care what a man thinks. I just mean be yourself and look after yourself always. Be the best you physically, spiritually and mentally, regardless of age and relationship status.

@Crimsyjo I realize that breakups happen and there is no guarantee that will not happen to but I hope it doesn't.

At least your marriage lasted a dozen years.

I know! But being so young you change and mature so much. My husband was older than me (31 at time) and didn't change and grow. Even now at 57 he's same. I hope you marry a guy near your age and make sure he's got ambition so you can grow together. It's also normal to go through stages of feeling closer or not so close. I can tell you won't be one of them... but many people jump out of a relationship at the first hurdle these days.

I'm hoping now tho that my next relationship will be the one. And last me the rest of our days 💘

@Crimsyjo My dating range is 19 to 23 (maybe 24) so I will marry a guy close to my age. I don't expect a young man, especially a college student to have a high income. However, I don't date guys unless I believe they have the potential for a 6 figure income (or close to it) by age 30.

I think that would be nice... that you would see and aid him in growing and succeeding to that potential!

@Crimsyjo Although I may work prior to having children, my mother is a stay-at-home housewife and caters to her husband. My father earns the income for our family. That is the example I want to follow.

Not so much about my looks. It's natural, but I worry about maybe living healthier than I am. Better be healthy now than try to change things later.
