You are 21 according to your profile and you need to ask such a question? Come on, I have the feeling that this site is slowly becoming a kindergarten.

You have a mouth and you could have asked her directly "why do you want me to try your drink".

You would have achieved 2 things simultaneously

1. You would have gotten the answer to your question directly from the person concerned and

2. You would not have had to spend time creating an account and asking this question here.

We don't know that lady but my presumption is that you looked as if you wanted to try that drink.

For future references, if you want to know the why of something, ask the person directly. You are not going to get a much better answer than from that person herself.
