At work, I noticed that a female co-worker was trying to discreetly flirt with me. She stared at me like, a LOT, and often tried to engage a conversation. I have a bad experience with dating in the workplace, so I ignored it. However, one day, we were leaving at the same time, so for the sake of curiosity, I decided to start a small talk, so we maybe could walk together to the metro talking.
As I was about to talk to her, the girl said goodby and literally started running like mad, climbing down the stairs while occasionally looking back at me on the top. "She may be in a genuine hurry", you will say. That is what I thought, so I went to look at the window and, as soon as she hit the street, she started to walk casually. And before I made a move to approach, she was not in a hurry either.
And the next day: surprise! She is staring at me even more than before. I could understand such an action in high school, but the girl is 26-27. Can someone explain such weird behavior? And how to deal with such a nuisance?
