Do biracial guys mixed with white and black like black girls who are not whitened up?

It seems like most biracial guys who are half black, half white are attracted to women who are not black and if she is black, then she's mixed or light skinned with a good perm or a long weave. I don't think I have ever seen a mixed guy with a dark skinned black girl who doesn't wear a weave or has a perm. Even just a dark skinned black girl! What's up with that? I am like a buttery brown skin toned black girl like this...

Personally, I LOVE my complexion! I think the color is rich and vibrant. I love the way it looks when I get out of the tub and rub body oil all over it to keep it nourished and smooth. I love the way the sun makes it glisten and glow. I wouldn't change my skin color for anyone's approval. I also love my hair texture. It's unique and fun to play with :P I think that I embody African features that are not whitened up such as lighter skin, lighter eyes, and straight hair. I'm so proud to represent that because it seems like so many black women these days don't want to. Anyway, I was just wondering if mixed guys (black and white) even are attracted to girls who look like me for the most part? I've noticed a lot of them make "Light skinned" comments and they just don't really seem to be into black girls. What have you observed? What is your opinion on this?

I'm mixed of 25% Irish, 25% Italian, and 50% African, (pale skin dad, Carman skin mom and they are still married.) Tbh I tend to like girls with my olivia tan skin or lighter but I have liked girls of darker color. The way I grew up and the people I met growing up, I haven't been attracted to the stereotypical way black woman act and talk, like saying the n word and the slang, and acting "ghetto" and at my school with few black girls they mainly do act like that, not all but many fall into it and it is really unattractive to me. Also at my Catholic Church most are white and my relatives I see often are white, so I just see myself with one or my color. You could say I have been whitewashed, but I'm open to everyone if I like your personality and look.

Ghetto behaviour is not exclusive to black people, it is a behaviour embraced by some people of any ethnicity from the ghetto. I have encountered ghetto whites, Asians and blacks.
I have met respectable ones too. It depends on the area.

@Cocobrown ya I have met ghettos of other races, but just from where I live and the school I go to, is mainly some of the black girls, with a couple to one white, indian, and latino girl (s)

How many black/White mixed guys do you know, or even seen and known for sure they were black/White mixed? Chances are how ever many you know is an eye droplet on that ocean of millions of black/White guys and the girls they chose and not enough to draw that conclusion fit them all.

Or do you mean the question to be about just the ones you've encountered in your limited experience?

To answer your question it depends on the following factors; parenting, environment, social group and sometimes ones personal experience.
On my maternal side both grandparents are mixed, my mother was married to a black man. My husband is mixed and my soon to be brother in law is mixed but was raised by a single white mother. Both I and my sibling are medium brown tone like you with curly hair.

There are mixed men that i know who have married black women of all different shades brown.

this doesn't answer your question (sorry) but I just wanted to say there's nothing wrong with black women having straight hair or long weaves. all that matters is if it looks good or if it suits them. I'm really tired of people saying we're trying to live up to the european standard of beauty by straightening our hair. there are many reasons why WOMEN in general get weaves and it can also be a PREFERENCE

I think the word "preference" these days is being thrown around to exscuse someone's actions. I mean, yes, not all women wearing weaves are trying to live up to the Eurocentric standard of beauty, but lets just be real here...most of them are.

i see where you're coming from but that is only on the outside looking in. you'd have to really ask someone or get into their head to know the real reason. but a lot of times people want what they can't have. like for girls and their hair: curly haired girls -> wish they had straight hair and vice versa. just sayin!

i don't know too many mixed guys but I do know that a lot of light skinned men like darker girls. most of the biracial guys I have seen date white girls

You don't know what it's been like to be a dark skinned black woman and how something as simple as a color can effect you. I don't think color is the issue Im a black female not to dark but not light an the father of my child is MIXED (white mother and a black father) I where sew in (weave ) which he loves. My real hair is long right above my breast. I believe wearing weave is your preference I live in Florida an Brazilian, Peruvian an Malaysian hair is hot right now. a lot of guys like natural an some guys loves the different looks straight, curly an wavy etc...

I'm a 'dark skinned' black woman and I've been dating my mixed (black father/white mother) boyfriend for two years. I believe it's all about what you're exposed to and what you personally find beautiful. I am natural, don't wear any weave. Don't wear any makeup, and he finds me beautiful. He worships my body and loves every part of me. He has dated black women almost exclusively and he was raised by a single white mother. Who knows the science behind our attraction for others, it's a mystery.

Well if some don't like you..., than their loss just move on. I guess its easier to get to know them first. Athough if possible try to make freinds with them to find out if they are into black girls first, could avoid some negative dissapointment. Its probably 50/50 with biracial guys liking black girls though

I think it's the stereotypes mostly. And the way they think is not the same as the way I think. I can't relate to them. I'm very "whitewashed" I guess you could say. I just don't relate to black females.

That's just it. I don't get VERY attracted to black women. I feel like I see all other races as exotic and more sexy. I think it's as simple as that.

oh OK so you're the classic case of someone who believes that European looks are the most beautiful? Exotic, by definition, means unusual or different. It's a term that is often used to describe someone who is foreign. So, it's not that black women cannot be exotic. I've been to Greece and Italy and had those guys tell me I was exotic :P It's all about where you're from. Just putting that out there because a lot of people don't seem to get that.
