Are you approachable?

For some reason I am, and despite of absolutely HATE being chit-chatted up by strangers, I still do my best to be at least friendly - hide behind my professional hat and play by that.

Wish I had the pussy to actually have colourful hair or wear alternative styles but I also hate being looked and stared at. There's no winning. I sometimes wonder how I've not become a cave woman who never ventures out. 😂

No. I'm generally quiet and stone faced. I don't smile much around strangers. I never open a conversation with anyone I don't know. I sit and observe their behavior. They either have to initiate the conversation or leave me alone.

I've been told I'm scary. One woman sitting next to me with her husband leaned over and said... "you look like you could be an assassin". I replied..."you're close to the truth". She was just trying to get me to talk. She was shocked by my deadpan reply. I spent the next 2 hours explaining my background to mainly her but her husband as well.

I'm always quiet when I'm out of my comfort zone but I'm the opposite of stone faced. I'll be putting this god damn foolish smile on my face as soon as I step out the door and everyone will be thinking it's them I'm smiling to. Which I think is a part of the issue with people thinking I'm approachable. 😅

Because I'm on the shy side, people have told me they figured I wasn't very friendly and seemed unapproachable. I do try to smile more at people when passing and making eye contact. In the past I wouldn't smile, I'd just break eye contact and look down or straight ahead.

I hate eye contact, it makes me uncomfortable and I try to break it if I accidentally notice that I've made it as soon as I find it not rude.
Other than that we the opposite. I'm trying not to catch someone's eyes as when passing by and trying not to plaster a big ass smile on my face as I go out the door. 😅

I've experienced people start conversations with me, but I've also been told I have resting bitch face, so.. I have no clue.

Not very much to the opposite gender, I don't know why. I'm pretty chill once people start talking to me.

Goodness, don't get me started on how AWKARD shit gets when it's football/handball season (especially handball) . People hear my accent and expect me to know shit. 😂😮‍💨 Talk about shoes with me and I'll be recalling the time I was wearing shoes that were duct taped together as the queen rolled past me in her horsey thing. 😂
