Is there a good electric razor that I can use, or should I stick with standard razor?

I have seen electric razors advertised. Do they work as well as the old standard razors? Is there a standard razor (brand and blade numbers) that you would recommend because you have had success. Would you recommend a particular brand of electric razor or none at all? Thank you.

The Phillips One is a good compromise. I use it 80% of the time as I can trim my beard easily and keep my cheeks and neck almost as smooth as a wet shave.

For a wet shave I like the Gillette Mach 3. It's affordable and you can't really tell the difference between it and more recent, much more expensive ones.

I've also got a straight razor, but that takes a LOT of practice, and I wouldn't recommend it for more "intimate" areas 😳

A blade will always shave closer , electric might be okay for a female , no good for me , too much shaving going on , although I use a clipper for manscaping which is fine.

Can't imagine the electric getting the baby smooth result we are usually looking for when shaving. I've used the Venus (blades are expensive) forever.

I always use a Braun electric, but it will never shave as close as a blade, but it's convenient and safer for me.
