Does the sound of other people typing fast on a keyboard annoy you?

For instance you are in a library with lots of computers and you hear a whole ton of typing very fast going on. Does it ever annoy you?

yeah sometimes if I'm really trying to focus on my work the sound of someone else typing like there's no tomorrow annoys the sh*t out of me. but sure then I can just get up and take the keyboard or laptop away from them, then swat them with a rolled up magazine and say "No."

I never really thought about it before, but no not really. My mom complains about my frantic typing all the time though, haha, so it apparently bothers her. Also I think she gets annoyed that I'm so much faster than she is. =P

Nope I do it all the time. I do tend to annoy other people though ^.^

I don't mind the sound, it lets me know I'm getting something done.

If it's obnoxious then kinda, yeah. I do however feel kind of soothed when someone has a "soft" sounding keyboard and they're plugging away at it.

I don't mind until they pick up their cell phone and I hear a bitchy valley-girl voice gossiping about someone else's relationship.

I only find it annoying when I have a headache. The sound doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't say I enjoy it either. XD

if they're being too loud it does. but the only times I hear that is when I'm typing too so I mostly just hear my own typing.

No. I'll just ignore it, or tune it out. At least it's not as bad as hearing fingernails screeching across a chalk board. That's annoying.

No, but chicks tapping on their touch screen phones with their finger nails is really irritating.
