As a female … I’m tired of female celebs and I realized why.
I realized that females are basically pushed and accepted for being shallow as fug. You watch interviews of female artists or music videos and it’s usually all so basic and shallow and vapid. It’s all about how she looks. This also ties into the whole concept of wearing makeup (even if you’re not famous). I personally hate the idea of makeup (I don’t care if others wear it, I hate wearing it because it represents that something is wrong with my face and there isn’t! I also see makeup on others and it just makes me think “this doesn’t seem right”).
I was watching a male artist interview and that’s when this hit me about females being promoted for being shallow. The male artist dresses and looks completely normal and average. And his conversation was 100 fold more interesting. That’s because he’s not a walking art piece. I want to watch interviews where the person has something interesting to say. Instead when I watch female interviews I’m sitting there watching someone perform and try to put across some stupid vapid image that means nothing and the woman herself says nothing. It’s all about image and visuality. Boring. That’s also why female stars have to change their image constantly. Because that’s all they’re about. It’s not deeper than that. When you live so shallowly, there’s no room to become a deeper human being. I’m sure they have deep experiences and feelings but I’m saying it stunts your mental and emotional growth if you’re stuck at this stage of “I have to project a certain stupid vapid image” 24/7.
