If she did not appear till now, it will be getting more and more difficult to find her. Not impossible but difficult.

What have you done till now to try to locate her?

She is not hiding in a hookup app or anywhere on the internet. She is probably living not far away. There is no need to search the world to find the right person. The thing is that you may have to lower your standards to try to find that person.

If you are seeking for a person that is only found in your wildest dreams, then you may have to search a long time. Those people seldom exist.

I am 47. And I’ve never had a girlfriend. Not for a lack of trying. But I’ve tried church, online, at work, hobbies, and I’ve never been past one date with a girl.
Just recently, I met someone who I thought was gonna be someone very special, and the date even went well. But then a no go for a second date.
I really don’t understand what is wrong with me? What am I doing wrong?
I’m still trying to make my dream of becoming an actor come true, I am an artist, And I’m still working jobs that give me the freedom to pursue my career? I am a Christian, a liberal, which I know those two don’t normally go together, but those are my beliefs. They say there’s someone put on this earth for everyone, so where is she? It’s very hurtful and lonely living this way. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I was diagnosed as mildly autistic. I don’t know if that could be something?

There may be someone on this earth for you but that does not mean that she lives in the same country as you do.

I don't know what the best way for you is to find your soulmate. Just never give up searching for someone in person (not on dating apps). She may eventually pop up in your life when you least expect it.

I'm sure she is out there, you just have to be at the right spot at the right time and make sure you make yourself known to her. If you are shy, then you'll need to work on that first. Personality goes a long way over looks. Good luck in your search though.

It's just a matter of luck mixed in with personality and putting yourself out there in multiple ways. I found my wife in the workplace and my boyfriend on a dating site. It's just different for everyone.

I know it's gonna be hard being in your 40s and not having a girlfriend, but you can't give up. You need to just keep trying and it will happen. I wouldn't worry about the autism either. Plenty of women can look past it, it's just a matter of whether it's inhibiting you on these dates as far as being sociable.
