Strangers usuallty ladies and girls often tell me that I'm pretty, and I agree. Though, I often wonder if they are truly commenting on my grey eyes and not my face because guys never try to talk to me.

There is no such thing as overthinking but only a thorough analysis of an event or situation.

A compliment is mostly given by someone that has some intentions with the person that receives the compliment. Usually, a woman will get compliments by guys on her looks or how she dresses or smells but very, very rarely on her performance or achievement.

If that compliment you received was on your looks, smell or the way you dress, then take it as it is by someone that ultimately wants to get into your pants, regardless of how you look at it or the denial of the one that made that compliment.

It's rare for a guy to compliment me. Maybe once or twice a month, but they say it and stare or walk away.
I don't believe the women and young girls are trying to get in my pants.

Ok I’m going to be honest w my opinion here since no one has really said it. A lot of times women will tell each other they’re beautiful, gorgeous, etc. Which from a female’s perspective it might be true. But not from a male’s perspective. I used to have female friends as well as colleagues who would tell me I should date a friend of theirs. She’s single, she’s gorgeous, she has a great personality, only to find out physically speaking from most men’s perspective she isn’t what most men would go for looks wise. Now I’m not saying that’s you cause like a lot of other men pointed out there’s no pic of you to look at. The biggest thing I’ve learned w a lot of women too is they don’t want to be rude, at least w other women when it comes to being honest. W men a lot of them have no problem telling a man he’s ugly.

I wasn’t trying to be rude, so don’t think I was. It’s just that had been my experience when it comes to women as far as being nice. Yes beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Have you had some men approach you?

Yes, men approach me. Most compliment me and or stare and I thank them then walk away. It's usually awkward and happens in grocery stores or gas stations. The me who follow through and ask for my number usually stop me when I'm my dog.

I don’t know maybe you are gorgeous. Like I said Monica. But yes I’ve had that experience w women say things about their girlfriends, her being cute and all when she really wasn’t. Maybe you do have beautiful eyes. Maybe you just have a lack of self confidence so you don’t see what others are talking about. Do you get asked out a lot?

Lol. I'm not interested in being judged on my physical appearance. I'm pondering the difference between. You're pretty v. You have pretty eyes. I think it's kind to say you're pretty. Lol so maybe I answered my own question.

I don’t say “you’re beautiful” to be polite or to please anyone; I give neutral, objective comments, but you know best. 🤷‍♂️
