If you wouldn't wear a bra as a top, then why do some women wear a sports bra as a top?

What I want or like does not mean that others have the same taste or liking as me.

I totally abhor NOT to wear a bra even though my chest would not need to have a bra. It is just unaesthetic not to wear a bra because often, you cannot control when you are cold and that nipples show. Breasts are something totally unaesthetic and then you have the heavier breasts that start sagging 🤮

I do wear a sports bra when I go to the gym or hiking/cycling, simply because it gives a better hold but always, always wearing a lose top over it.

As to why others don't wear a top over their sports bra, I can only speculate that they need, want or seek attention.

At least in my case, when running during the summer, for exactly the same reason some guys go shirtless !!!

Similar reason at the gym... except the gym I go to doesn't let guys workout shirtless. I sweat a lot when working out !!!

Because a bra has one purpose boob support. A regular bra is for support under clothes whereas a sports bra is for support in physical activity this they are made to be worn outwardly.
It’s like the difference between underwear and a speedo.
