Do you care about other people? In the following examples?

Let’s say you are dining at McDonalds and nobody can see you because you are behind a post, would you clean up properly instead of making the staff clean up after you?

Or you are anonymously following a pastor online and you know they are struggling with money, would you donate $5.00?

Or let’s say you notice spelling and grammar errors in a book you read, would you email the author to let them know?

I'll clean up after myself, sure I'll donate , no I'm not calling the author
The first 2, I'm not going out of my way to do
I'm already there. It's easy to give an donation through the phone.
The 3rd nope, I gotta find out the phone number, what time the office opens, call, whoever's on the other side is probably not the author, so I gotta hope she relays the message.
Then hope that she cares about it enough that she changes the mistake and take the other books off the shelf. That also means it's more than a one day event. I have to wait on updates and I'm not in the room to see if the person is working on it.

Now if I had the author's personal number, sure I would let her know
Or if I received the book before it went public, but after that if the author didn't catch it, the team, she working with didn't catch it, the public isn't fussing over it, and I still enjoyed the book with that mistakes in it, I wouldn't put more energy in it.

I would because because I'm antisocial in different way than being incapable to clean dirt I created.

No. $5.00 won't help them. It's just alibi to feel myself better.
