While working the other day a coworker of mine came up to me and discreetly told me that my underwear was showing. Do you think she was just being courteous or was there something more there?

I believe that you are overthinking the situation. It is probably wishful thinking and not so much reality.

I doubt a girl would initiate a conversation on underwear showing just to try to make small talk with you.

My question is rather whether you have a crush on her or are infatuated with that girl? That would make more sense because you would be finding reasons to try to hook up with her.

If anything, then she would be courteous and nothing more. It would only be to your advantage to be dressed correctly at work.

That’s appreciated coming from a guy, because far too many have no problem making women uncomfortable in public, whether they’re unrelentingly eyeing our bodies or actually approaching to hit on us. I’ve had one man literally grab me by the wrist when I tried rejecting him and yank me all the way back around.

Another instance of trying to walk to the club with a group of friends and having an older guy try complimenting my body. When I tried to keep walking and ignore him shoving past my friends (who were telling him to back the fuck off), he slapped my ass as hard as he could and then took off running. I don’t really do clubs and bars anymore because of shit like this (I’m also engaged now and this was all years ago). But yeah, It’s scary being a woman these days man.
