I used to be in porn, was part of a production studio that was somewhat reputable and also used to side hustle with male stripping gigs.

I left that field 3 years ago to start a new leaf and basically wanted to forget everything about the past. Moved somewhere in the rural Deep South to be away from it all and to ensure no one who knew of the past came into contact with me.

Ok, it didn't necessarily go to plan.

I was at a local Tractor Supply and somehow got recognised by someone from the time Obama was President. I was exiting the store, she was coming in, she clearly noticed me before I did and when I did I hurried on to my truck, loaded up except she decided to turn around.

She approached the truck and had a rather negative and angry outburst. I said rather nicely to her "Ma'am that was a rather long time ago, let's leave the past in the past and let what happened in Chatsworth to remain in Chatsworth." I got into my truck and she hissed and clearly wasn't satisfied at me saying that to her. She said "I will destroy you the same way you destroyed me that evening."

3 days after that incident, my girlfriend of a year asked me if I knew that woman, she said she had contacted her to inform her of all kinds of stuff about me. I said it was in the past and from a long time ago.

Previously never really thought about this as Cali is a big place and your chances of meeting someone you met on set on the street is less than 1%

I wonder if there's anything I should do about the situation?

A strange story. So she was also in porn and is angry that you had worked with her... I'm presuming.

I'm not surprised she has regrets but am surprised she doesn't take any accountability for her part in it.

It is close to a mental illness and I don't think you can do anything other than keep your distance as much as possible without running away. You might be able to get an intervention order if she doesn't settle down.

Sounds suss, but if someone wants to leave that life behind just don't mention of reveal it. I have never been into porn, so if I were to date a former porn actress and she did not tell me I would never know.
