Who remembers when?

So who really remembers when kids mostly boys or maybe it was you when you were a kid and you’d go around the neighborhood knocking on doors and asking if they’d like their yard mowed for five bucks or more?

Yes, sir, that was me! A couple days ago I opined on a similar question asking if anyone had a paper route. A neighborhood friend and I made a good chunk of money cutting grass in the summer, blowing leaves in the fall and shoveling and salting in the winter. We actually thought about starting a small business after high school but we each decided against it. We had A LOT of fun during those years but now, I hate doing any yard work.
