What is the oldest memory that you remember? What was your age around at that time?

I remember posting a similar question years ago, and back then the oldest memory I could think of was my papa dropping me off at kindergarten on my first day. But after all these years, I recalled an even earlier memory- me waiting for my papa while my mum was lovingly feeding me, even though I wanted to wait for him.

When he finally came home, I remember not letting him go even for a second. He picked me up and hugged me, and even when he went to wash his hands, I was hanging onto him like a little koala bear. Then he sat down for dinner. He fed me a few bites even though I was already full, and I remember falling asleep while eating, sitting on his lap. Lol.

I remember being scared of something in my room when I must have been age 2 or 3 or something like that. When I look at old pictures of that room, I can see what it was, there was a shadow from a light on the ceiling that made a scary shape that looked like it was attacking me from above. I also remember being in the backyard with my mom sitting with a bunch of ladies, and a lady sitting on our sofa who was just about to go to Hawaii. I remember those moments very clearly, but not anything else really about what was going on until I was around age 4.

I must have been around three, maybe four. My neighbor girl, Anna, babysat me and one time she had a friend over, they both came over straight from school. I remember them making me smell their feet and wanting me to say who's smelled worse 🙄 😂 She was actually a very good person and treated me good lol... She's also gorgeous! When I got older and would run into her I couldn't believe how pretty she was, because I really don't remember her being that beautiful.

Being pushed in my stroller up the street to the neighborhood grocery store. I remember looking down at the street and watching the cracks in the pavement as we went. I also remember my mom moving us off the street when a car came by. I could have been under one yr old?

Everyone’s first clear memory hits at a different age.

For me, it’s something from when I was really young maybe around 3 or 4.

Not a full story, just a moment, a sound, a place, a feeling.

Early memories tend to be like that small fragments that stuck for a reason, even if we didn’t understand it at the time.

My dad keeps me high, he is a young handsome men and he rubs my face on his skin and he has 1 mm long beard. It feels raw but it's funny and we both laugh. I'm not sure if it's oldest one but I don't remember my mother in those oldest memories.

Honestly when I was just months old when I couldn't see it. But the feelings were there. All I remember was seeing something red and feeling my mom's presence, scent and comfort. I felt so small and relaxed. And when I start seeing things, I saw my mom first then my brother looking like my mom and my dad going downstairs and that's it.
