This is quite a story worth evaluating... a 3 time Olympic runner. But she was running from some terrible emotions, apparently yet to be discovered. That lead into becoming a $600/hr hooker... call girl. Wow, $3000 a day!

Question is, if you are using someone like this, do you care about them at all, or is it all about you and your needs?

PS... she was married at the time, now divorced.

Hopefully, she finds her way back to life.

You really have to be careful with medications, even prescribed ones. Our brains make all the drugs we need... as long as the brain works. Other meds, can have terrible side effects.

When I pay for services, I don't know about or get involved in the personal lives of people who provide them. Should I? I'm nice and polite, that's it.

I don't employ escorts, especially $600 per hour escorts, but I wouldn't be concerned about her life history. After all, she's making $600 per hour and nobody is forcing her. She's just providing a service just like every other person who works for a living. It's more honest than a lot of careers.
And I don't think sex work, at least not every kind of sex work, is the lowest form of employment.

I'm married and, before that, I mostly had long term, monogamous relationships because that's what I prefer. But I don't judge people who have casual sex.

A lot of agree. A discovery I made a while back in the real of "psychology" is that "wounds control". So many prostitues are actually trapped, this one was not. Not caring would lead to furthing abuse, and a lot of guys have gotten busted and on sex predator list for such, abusing minors, etc etc.. It can be a mess... stemming from prior life emotional wounds.

A person can have behaviors in present life oriented out of unresolved damage from early life. If I had to make a guess based upon what little I know now, that be it. Early life trauma. She spoke to this in a subsequent interview I watched after posting this, loss of her brother and taking prescribed... mind altering... medications. That is at least part of what sent her into prostitution. Our brains are what is making the decisions. Those can create problems, as the video notes in her running... she literally fell apart in a race.

There's nothing wrong with being a sex worker, if it's from a healthy disposition. Nothing wrong with most anything. But when people are operating out of the wrong place, it is and can lead to more damage to them and others. that's the challenge of any work, that has consequences. I'd say the same about airline pilots too.

your view of not caring about the other makes sense, you pay for a service and move on. it's tricky to care about others as noted above. I like to use my judgement about them. I think warren buffet said it well "its either hell yes or hell no". That is good guidance to keep people out of bigger problems if ones values don't guide them better.

That is not assumed. She said it herself, in a subsequent interview. If you watch the videos above, you'll see she broke down mentally. The problem is the heart and mind.. if this is what someone wants to do, is true to their heart and purpose, no problem, more power to them. That is not the case with all too many whom are trapped doing something they don't wnat to do. Don't assume everyone is like yourself, you may be an exception.
Your point is valid though in that what is important in any career is aligning that persons values and skills and purpose with the job.

I meant in general... when i meet someone for the first time most of them think i m doing it coz i m compelled to do it n I m being abused or something... n some of them dont even believe that I m in it by choice... they think I m forced to say it that I like it... but even with all that nobody stops fucking though... they want the value for the money they paid n rest of the stuff is additional n for free... as in sympathy

Yes, because it's generally illegal except a few areas, all we hear about are the horror stories where people, generally women, are coerced and controlled. So many of them were abused as a child and end up being drawn into this life.. they don't want, never asked for.
I suspect it does suit some people better than other jobs, maybe for the money but more their personality.

The problem with the whole thing is it's a reproductive activity and diseases can pass around. There's consequences and risks. That's true of anything, that's true of dating and marriage and driving a car. As an adult, you make best decisions you can for your life.
It's not really a well accepted profession but should be that, a profession. If it was more available, it help resolve a lot of social ills, possibly making some others. Society is a long way from accepting that.
So how did you get there in life? The usual answer is something like "I started xy at 13", my father left us when... I made good money, I liked it.

Regarding acceptance I believe our society is mostly hypocrite because many men who love to be with us n pay us would not want to be seen with us outside the club or hotel or whatever...

You make a lot of sense and could be an advocate for such people. Its good to hear most are not coerced or tricked or controlled or abused. That is one concern, the major one.
Being forced to work overtime to finish a computer program I think is different than being forced to be intimate in some way with a person you may not even like or like how they smell. I don't know how a person emotionally handles that and maintains their dignity and self worth and "power".
If you can, yours is a special brain. I don't like that part I just hurt, you should have the power and say... not a manager. I'd assume this is vegas as everywhere else it's illegal.
This is frankly a needed and essential service for a lot of males to help them develop and get over roadblocks so they can have relationships. A lot of guys are stuck, and up going nuts and end up on sex predator list. That is really bad, trashes their life. No need for that.

Well yeah it is different than working on a computer but then this is where the most common objection come about us... that prostitutes do not engage emotionally n they just lay down for u... it is true for many but again not for all... I m always 100% emotionally involved n if i have s client who i dont like or who smells or something... thats when my emotional performance goes down but I still try to make him happy...

You are exceptional one and providing in a sense, therapy to men, which is desperately needed. I don't need it, but there's so many that do. "Snuggle" and talk therapy, close therapy, etc.. it should be a profession with training honestly. Our society is not mature enough for it or someone just hasn't pushed hard enough to get it into laws. Looking at the sex offender list should tell us something, we are throwing away men because they are "broken" and fail with women, mostly.
Yours is a perspective not well heard or understood, we only hear the bad stories, thanks for sharing. We don't ground all airplanes because they are complicated and difficult, we work to refine them and make them as safe as possible. Same should be for what you do.
i don't claim to understand how you can do something physically that is emotionally not acceptable, and come out of it emotionally ok. I don't agree with that position you are in... you should have the power to say no at all times, you just lose money. Even a marriage that is loving and respectful... if someone pricks the other with a small needle once (like with words or physically small hurt)... after enough of them, they are scared and they lose it mentally. You have a unique ability to cope.
I also don't understand how you stay married, it's secure and trusted and all... but do this as profession. But that's good if you found someone to make it work like that. Lastly, do you make enough to "retire". Reality is, this business is only good for certain number of years, like most jobs. At some point, the younger girls win.
