Girls’ Why do you find Dad bods sexier than fit muscle guys’?

I heard it’s because girls’ don’t really care for big muscle guys’ and they get disgusted by his gym selfies. also she doesn’t want to be with a guy that lives at the gym and apparently a guy that lives at the gym, is trying to compensate for something else?

Also girls’ want a guy that wants to spend valuable time with her over spending time at the gym? Girls’ do you agree or disagree , and do you prefer Dad Bods over a fit muscular guy?

none of my exes or friends who are women, have ever said "I find dad bods sexy" none of them, ever... but also, none of them has said "I prefer and love super muscular bodies" none of them likes the idea of a roid-head so that eliminates the extremes

most of them if not all of them do prefer a fit body, which is still a muscular body but not an overblown one... but they're also okay with an average body, but an average-healthy body, not an average-American-overweight body, lol

now, when it comes to "SEXIER" then, for most women... is definitely more than just the body as there's also a lot of the personality, the vibe and many other things involved

most of them do find athletic bodies and in shape, to be very sexy... when considering just the body

It's not about sexier. It's about personality, charm, a good guy etc. That can compensate for physical features. A gym guy probably gets more shallow interest. I personally have been with all types except for very big guys. I find gym level muscles are hard like iron and I don't like it. I like feeling soft skin to cuddle. This can be slim average and muscle but not iron hard built muscle. Or more dad bod style with little belly and thicker body style. But if you click with a person and get on well then attraction can grow beyond physical appearances and then even make those features cute or endearing. It's a wonderful thing but it takes time. So a gym guy or average muscle slim guy will probably still do better on tinder than a dad bod guy. But if a gal is genuinely looking for something deeper than casual sex she will not pass over a guy just cos he's not going gym.

just like you favour a beautiful, petite, slim woman, with long hair, a beautiful fairytale Princess type, our ideal is a fit, handsome prince type. However, those we end up getting on best with, are often average joes, without perfect bodies. Just like us.

I dated a guy on and off for 6 years who had a Dad bod, and actually it was very becoming.
You're right though I didn't care for muscular or selfies at all.
The Dad bod just has some sort of appeal to it versus other physics. I guess it made me feel secure when I was with him.

This was a conversation that was discussed between my wife and all her friends over a few bottles of wine, I was curious about their opinions. Probably because most of their partners had a bit of coverage and me included but dad bods came out on top basically because women want a man that isn’t obsessed with himself and constantly counting the calories. And gym guys are never satisfied with how they look.

dad bod is not a fat ass. its overall increase in body fat especially the abdomen.

abdominal fat is not the same as butt fat. abdominal fat increases risk of heart disease and early death. butt fat doesn't increase chance of death
