A stranger called me a slur on the street—does this mean anything?

Im walking down the street and a woman is walking towards me. Im on the phone with my mother as im approaching this woman that is seemingly staring at me as we are getting closer. As im passing by her she says 'faqqot'. Was that really necessary? Anyone else experience something like this?

Yes I have lol I had someone call me a asshole repeatedly I just agreed with him because I was at work and the only person working but I did have a friend there that was hanging out and after the guy got too mad to stand being in the store he stormed out my friend asked laughing what was that all about and I told him I didn’t know I never seen the guy ever in my life… after working there with the general public for a few years I realized that there are people out there who are nuts and probably shouldn’t be allowed to be in public without supervision of some sort you probably just found your whacko for that area I think there’s so many whackos per so many so called normal people the higher the population equals higher numbers of whackos
