Would a girl let a guy she likes see her put makeup on?

One of my best friends (a female),when getting ready to go to work or to go somewhere with me, doesn't mind me talking with her and seeing her put makeup on.

Not that I'm seeking a "does she like me answer"

But would a girl let a guy she likes/dating see her put makeup on?

Would she let him if they were just friends? (like my case)

I'm just kinda curious about how people think/feel about this Because I once heard false to the 1st question and never really thought different till I started getting to know my female friend really well and we became repetitively comfortable with each other and she didn't mind that we talked during that time. Thoughts?

fyi funny memory regarding the subject of this question.


My friend several years ago once put black eyeliner on me, cause her boyfriend at the time couldn't stay still enough, so she put it on me instead. Her and I wish we could have had a picture of it but we didn't take one. =( lol.


lets just say I looked partially emo for a few minutes lol.


Lesson learned : funny memories come in the most unlikely of ways, and that eyeliner doesn't come off easily! lol

You mean she lets you see her without any make up at all?

All girls are different in their comfort zones with guys. Personally, I wouldn't want a guy I REALLY like to see me without something on... just enough to make me look decent. - But it doesn't really matter, because he's got to like me for me anyway! But with a good guy friend, I don't really think about it too much. It's just nice to feel a little bit more pretty in the presence of a guy I like.

It depends on how a guy makes a girl feel though, too.

I've experienced both situations:

One guy who was critical about everything - I didn't feel pretty enough, which I know wasn't a fact, but that's how I felt around him.

Another guy who is more open and kind - Makes me feel beautiful without having to change a thing about me, so in that case I don't feel pressure to be anything other than myself.

It totally just depends on the relationship you both have really.

Yeah she does lol...most of the time when we are together unless its some nice social event or something to do with cheer (which we've both been a part of in the past) ,otherwise she doesn't really bother to put any on at all.

truth be told I think she looks great either way.

The one thing a woman hopes to hear and feel from a guy, is that she is beautiful. I think your heart toward her is really sweet. :) A priceless find!

Maybe she's very confident and doesn't mind being seen without makeup even if she does wear it out.

Or she feels a level of comfort (that in all honesty she probably wouldn't feel around a guy she liked) so she doesn't mind if you see this. I don't think it indicates her liking you or not.

yeah I think she's quite confident in herself and her looks, but she's mature enough to not flaunt it around. She's has a "quiet confidence" you could say in her appearance.

Yeah she knows she can be 100% herself around me and I won't criticize her for it, because we've developed a very chill comfortableness with each other over the years that we enjoy and cherish.

Depends. Is she one of those girls that can't leave the house without putting makeup on? If so, she probably wouldn't let the guy she likes see her doing her makeup.

no, most of the time she doesn't mind if its just me and a couple of our mutual friends that she know pretty well too...Otherwise she'll put on a little foundation and call it good most of the time lol. (the reason I know the terminology is because of her telling me lol)

lol yeah... she's stayed over at my place several times when she's in town to visit and ill wake up after she does normally (cuz I'm not much of a morning person if I don't have to be lol) and she'll be doing her hair, and putting the bare minimum of makeup, if we're planning to go to town like to the mall or something. lol...if not she'll check her phone , give herself a look over and then wake me up so we can go get breakfast lol.
