Why do very attractive women often seem more demanding in relationships?

I have noticed that very physically attractive women tend to be people who are the most demanding and the most difficult to deal with, have the greatest financial and other expectations of men, and do the most shit testing. This makes them pretty unattractive after a very short time with this behavior. Why do they do this?

This is a more complicated question than it might seem like at first because I don't think attractive women always come out ahead, I think it's sort of a mixed blessing. Like, the risk of being perved on is probably higher for example. Guys try harder to get w. you which can have side effects based on how guys flirt or ask you out, in other words, you might spent more time being treated like a piece of meat or like you aren't very smart. I actually think somebody should research this, I think attractive women put up with more of a certain type of treatment on average. But on the other hand, because it is more common for guys to try to impress you or stuff like that, the baseline for what is normal is different which could come across as entitled or spoiled in some ways. I think it's a version of supply and demand. I don't even believe in the idea of "attractive people" as a fact I think it is always opinion, I think everybody is attractive and it's just whether you are able to see that about them or not. But I mean for people who are most often considered attractive, that isn't a very large percentage so those people become more of a target for guys and it leads to some different experiences with flirting, dating and stuff like that. JMO!

Because they know what they want and they won't settle for anything less. Life is only one and it's pointless just making do and living without the spark.

People hate it but the hard truth is relationships are transactional. A young and attractive women trades her sexual opportunity for a mans resources (not only monetary, but also time, energy, commitment, and lifestyle).

When a woman's value is viewed as greater then the man she is with she'll demand more. But this goes both ways. A man with a higher value then his partner will put higher demands on his female partners.

Best believe that attractive women, when in a relationship that skews in favour of the man, they make far fewer demands on his time/resources in hopes of earning his commitment.

Unfortunate truth is 90% of men have nothing of value to offer women other then commitment which is really only valued from the other 10% of men who have options.

Such is life. Not everyone gets to win.

Well, the answer as to why (young) ladies are more demanding in relationships is the same answer to the question, "Why do dogs lick their genitals?" Because they can!

However, your profile says you are age 39? Just keep improving yourself. The tables are starting to turn, and if you keep improving yourself, soon you will have the upper hand, believe it or not.

Ten years ago, I would have believed you, but my experience tells me differently now. What I do know are these things: I am not going to grow to be any taller than I am now, which is under six feet. Try as I might, I am not going to become a millionaire or a billionaire in the next ten years. Finally, no matter how much money I might be willing to sink into the project, even plastic surgery will not make me into a male model.

Without these things, I think I'm out of luck.

BUT - the women in your age range can't do what they used to do 10 years ago. We are appreciating assets, even if not as much as we would like (I can relate with respect to money, believe me), and they are depreciating assets, as their looks fade and they typically do not develop any good qualities to compensate for that.

Of course, you *might not want* the ones in your age range anymore. Which itself is having the upper hand.

If you had selected on things that determine relationship quality then you would expect higher relationship quality.

When you select on looks you would expect better looks.

I believe very attractive women, when they were already seen as such during their development, must end up quite blasé about people in general. Because they've been spammed for superficial reasons the whole time and it never stops.

I'm sure some of them have embodied superficiality, and they are using that, fully, to their own advantage, which reinforces a detached, if not depressing, view of people in general.

And some others, who didn't try to exploit that, probably wander in social interactions, wondering how to find a normal guy hidden among all the others she has to filter out.

I would have good looking girls come up to the door at the bar and expect to get in for free when there’s a big show. I would just tell them “this isn’t an L. A. club, $20 or you’re not coming in.” Or some young hot girl would show up with no ID and expect to get in.
