How would you honestly describe Filipino women and their traits?

My friends son married a Filipino woman and she and her family are just bizarre. But that's only one family. I have no idea if they represent Filipino culture in general or they are the bottom of Filipino society. The women in the family (3 generations) are all lazy self absorbed prima donnas who don't work. The bride's 70 year old aunt aunt wore what was basically a stripper dress that looked like something you'd expect to see on a pole dancer. They all expect to be pampered. They have no involvement in raising their own children. And they do nothing when they are hosting guests. They are pretty much all parasites and they seem to expect the right to go through life with other people doing almost everything for them. Like I said, this is one family but they are a bizarre deviation from what I'm used to.

Ohhh that’s odd to hear usually it’s the opposite, I work with a Phillipine girl and she and her husband are having issues marriage but she seems like a hard worker!

I married one and we just moved back to the Philippines. They're hard working, non-confrontational, extremely family orientated, and generally happy. Filipinos are the most fun people to hang out with. Give a Filipina and ounce of love and you get 50lbs or love back. Give a Filipina an ounce of crap and you get 500lbs of s**t back.

Most of them seem friendly but often insecure, usually shy. Most of them are smart and hard workers, some of them are religious. Family oriented.

I have worked with some. And I met some who worked in doctor's offices I went to.
The ones I have met were very sweet. I get the impression that they are family oriented and rather submissive. They are also good cooks.
