Could female urinals become mainstream in the UK and beyond?

No reason why they can't. I work for a company in the UK that has them and they work. People use them and if they aren't use to it they give it a go.

I seriously hope it does not become mainstream and stays as a niche experiment. Not just in the UK but worldwide.

The reason for it is the total lack of hygiene they provide. There is no seat cover since there is no such thing as a seat. That means that the urine can spray about anywhere. Do you honestly believe that women are going to clean the sprayed surfaces after use? Of course not and that means that the next user will be coming in contact with a contaminated surface.

I would never use those female urinals. I am way too conscious about my health.

In my country we have hay bales you sit on that absorb the flow. As the urine surface quickly trickles away the surface stays dry and clean. All genders can use the same ones.
