girls, why do you always "pet" the guys head when he touches you?

ive been in a lot of situations where I was with a girl, I touch her and she starts like petting my head. wassup with that?

Well when a guy is my "Friend" I pet them on the head...like they are my dog..I think of my guy friends as cute little puppies..

What I don't understand is when they pinch my chin...lol

If I stroke my fingers through a guys head..I am most likely enjoying his hair or trying to show affection..or just plain like him (flirting)
